Abalashram strictly enforces the following criteria for admitting a new resident.  

     >   Totally orphaned girls ( i: e ; without both the parents ) and young destitute women with problems after  marriage               will  be admitted .

    >    Girls above 15 years and woman below 25 years are eligible.

    >   Applicants must be physically and mentally fit.
